Muskogee, the
seat of Muskogee County, serves as a hub
community for northeastern Oklahoma and is
in the middle of the world's largest
concentration of man-made lakes. The area
has more shoreline than any other inland
state. Our area is also well-known for its
many outdoor recreational opportunities. We
host over 30 parks in our city area.
Muskogee is about 40 miles southeast of
Tulsa and is served by State Highways 2 and
16 as well as US Highways 62, 64 and 69.
